Tierra Encantada of Windom provides high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and is conveniently located on Wentworth Avenue near Windom South Park in south Minneapolis’ Windom neighborhood. At Tierra, we care for the whole child, nurturing their cognitive development with our research-based curriculum while providing nourishing meals from around the world made from scratch daily. Our Spanish immersion environment allows children to learn Spanish naturally, the way they learn English at home, so they leave our program bilingual. From first words to fluency, we are proud to provide families with a community where they know their child is safe, loved, and able to flourish.

Meet Our Director!
Hector leads Tierra Encantada – Windom as our Center Director. Hector started as a Center Director in our Chicago location in 2022 before moving to Minneapolis. Hector brings a varied background in the education field to Tierra Encantada, including experience as a teacher, counselor, university professor, and educational administrator. Originally from Guatemala City, Hector enjoys all kinds of extreme sports, from skateboarding and snowboarding to what he says may be the most extreme: taking care of his children! We’re grateful to have Hector’s leadership in our center!
