Experience the Best Daycare in St. Louis Park

Tierra Encantada of St. Louis Park provides high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and is conveniently located on Excelsior Boulevard near Bass Lake. At Tierra, we care for the whole child, nurturing their cognitive development with our research-based curriculum while providing nourishing meals from around the world made from scratch daily. Our Spanish immersion environment allows children to learn Spanish naturally, the way they learn English at home, so they leave our program bilingual. From first words to fluency, we are proud to provide families with a community where they know their child is safe, loved, and able to flourish.

Learn Why So Many Families Choose Us!

“Tierra Encantada is a truly special place where you feel like you can trust each and every person to truly care for your child. We have an infant who is in a small classroom and receives a ton of attention all day long! The food is excellent for our child, too! The best thing about Tierra Encantada is the people. The teachers are thoughtful and attentive, giving the little ones so much love; the staff is always extremely supportive and responsive. We feel like our baby is in an extension of our home.”

First 1,000 Days

Forming secure attachments between infants and toddlers and their trusted, loving caregivers is the cornerstone of healthy brain development during a child’s critical first 1,000 days.

Amazing Meals Included in Tuition

“The food they serve is great – I’ve stopped during meal times, and it’s so much better than the menus we saw at other centers. She has developed a great palate for different foods because of the variety she gets at Tierra Encantada. She happily eats vegetables and fruit, avocados, beans, eggs, and quinoa! I can’t imagine sending her anywhere else.”

Meet Our Director!

Maria Cristina has been a part of our team sinceTierra Encantada – St. Louis Park’s first day and in fact was instrumental in opening our center in 2024! She brings a wealth of experience to her role as Center Director, including 13 years working in early childhood education and holds degrees in both Business and Early Childhood Education. Originally from Lima, Peru, Maria Cristina leads our center with compassion and dedication each day. Her not-so-secret talent is actual juggling, but that’s no surprise to us after seeing how well she juggles her responsibilities as Center Director with ease!
