How does it work?
Welcome to another exciting month at Tierra Encantada, where we’re diving into the world of problem-solving through hands-on exploration and discovery. This September, our classrooms are buzzing with curiosity as children embark on learning adventures that challenge their minds and ignite their imaginations.
For our littlest learners, the journey begins with puzzles. Infants will explore problem-solving basics by experimenting with concepts like on/off and in/out. These activities help them understand how the world around them works, laying the foundation for critical thinking skills! Our toddler, preschool, and pre-K students will dive into the fascinating world of weather and engineering. they’ll learn how science, technology, engineering, and art harmonize. From constructing weather-related art projects to becoming scientists, our young learners will develop a deeper understanding of the world around them and look at the world more curiously!
Our “How Does It Work?” curriculum theme encourages asking questions, which continues to foster the love for learning that we develop year-round.

Parents, get ready to dive into the fun with your little ones this month! Join in the excitement by tackling puzzles together, talking about the weather, or even building your mini engineering masterpieces with things you find around the house. Make it a game to see who can develop the most creative ideas! Encourage your child to ask “why” and “how,” turning everyday moments into playful adventures. By jumping into these activities, you’ll help your child learn and grow outside the classroom and create tons of exciting memories together.
